Landsat WRS-1 and WRS-2 Mosaic Scenes for Cabo Verde
LAYER WRS-1 (LANDSAT 1 to 3)

Data acquired by Landsat 1 to 3 follow the Worldwide Reference System-1 (WRS-1). Two Level-1 geometric processing levels are available: L1TP (Terrain Precision Correction) and L1GS (Geometric Systematic Correction). L1TP provides the highest level of geometric accuracy, using ground control points (GCPs) and a digital elevation model (DEM) to correct for terrain-induced displacement. L1GS applies only systematic geometric corrections based on spacecraft ephemeris data and does not incorporate ground control points or a DEM for terrain correction. Consequently, L1GS scenes may exhibit greater positional inaccuracies and misalignments between adjacent scenes.

Cabo Verde is covered by three paths (225, 226, and 227) and three rows (048, 049, and 050). These path/row combinations result in a total of seven distinct granules containing data.
